HONOUR. For the first time ever, just in time for the tenth celebration of Women's Day, a female had the honour of leading the Boland Cavaliers onto the rugby field at Boland Stadium in Wellington on Saturday. The lucky youngster was Gabriella Ventura (5), who proudly carried the ball onto the field ahead of captain Conrad Burke and his team. Boland won the match against EP Elephants 32-15. |
