The Christmas party was a highlight for the children whose lives are dominated by circumstances the average South African has difficulty in even comprehending.
Boys and girls aged between one and twelve years old, accompanied by their caregivers, aunts, uncles, grandmothers and mothers were transported from Paarl and Atlantis for array of entertainment, tractor-rides and presentation of gifts by Santa, as well as lunch.
"As a company which enjoys the rewards of success throughout the year, this Christmas party is one very small way in which we can give back - not only in financial terms - but in the giving of our time and adding some quality to their lives," said Versapak MD Mark Thatcher.
Proceeds of funds raised by the company will by allocated to the Paarl East Hospital children's clinic. |
