DIRTY. Tom Bogerhausen (right) of Parow won the veteran class during the third round of the Western Province Enduro Motorcycle Championships which was held on the farm Boesmansfontein near Wellington last Saturday. Riders had to finish as many rounds as possible within a three and a half hour time limit. Bogerhausen finished five rounds of 35km each in 3:26:08. He also came second overall in the bike category after Brett Lewis of Cape Town won in 3:14:36.

A BIG crowd was treated to action-packed rugby on the first three days of the 40th Coca-Cola Craven Week in Wellington. On Monday there was plenty of attractive rugby from the backlines, particularly those of Eastern Province and Border, while the forwards of Limpopo, Griquas, Free State and Boland impressed many.
