DIE NGK Paarlberg bied Sondag om 10:30 'n erediens vir die manne en vroue in uniform van die plaaslike beskermingsdienste aan. Ds Christo van Staden SAPD lei die diens.

Almal betrokke by die plaaslike beskermingsdienste word na hierdie diens uitgenooi.

Dit sluit in lede van die SAPD, brandweer, gevangenisdiens, verkeersdepartement, verplegingsdienste en nooddienste in uniform.

Dié mense lewer daagliks, ongemerk, 'n onmisbare diens aan ons gemeenskap. Dit is noodsaaklik dat daar vir hulle voorbidding gedoen moet word.

THE public can view some of the Cape's most beautiful private gardens and two West Coast farms as part of a series of one day tours taking place during the Cape Town flower Show. A Paarl garden is included on the Wineland Garden Tours tour.

Specialist garden tour guide Madelief Louw has set up two one-day Wineland Garden Tours to four gardens situated in the Boland and included a visit to the farm garden of Mildie Malan on the farm Salomonsvlei.

The Wineland Garden Tour takes visitors to Fleur Vue in Franschhoek, Old Nectar in the Jonkershoek Valley and Stellenkloof in Stellenbosch today and Old Nectar and Stellenkloof in Stellenbosch and Salomonsvlei in Paarl tomorrow.

The Wineland Garden Tours include transport, entry fees for each garden, morning tea served at Fleur Vue or Old Nectar, a two-course lunch at the five-star Lanzerac Hotel (excluding beverages), refreshments at Stellenkloof and afternoon tea at Salomonsvlei tomorrow. Tickets are R400.
