MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Boland

Broadly defined your responsibility will be to provide maintenance and fault-finding support services within the plant, as well as work on plant modifications and new machinery installations. Routine equipment inspections and heavy-current maintenance are other areas of responsibility.

Essentially your background must include a minimum N3 relevant technical qualification (or NQF equivalent), Trade Test certificate, and 2-5 years' experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing or factory environment. Well-developed interpersonal skills, coupled with ability to work independently and commitment to personal development, are favourable characteristics.

Press Appeal Chair - who should be a person with extensive experience in press law and adjudication or a person with extensive experience in the application of the rules of natural justice and will be expected to deal with appeals on a part-time basis. Six Public Representatives on the Appeals panel - who should be persons who have a serious interest in the furtherance of the communication value of the press and who do not have a material financial interest in the media.

Six Press Representatives on the Appeals panel - who should, judged as a group, have practical and journalistic experience in the printed media, especially the newspaper press and could still be in the employ of a newspaper.
