LABORATORY ASSISTANT
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, your
responsibilities will include:
Laboratory:
• Assisting with daily analysis of wine samples
• Performing microbiological duties in lab
• Making up of chemical solutions
• Assist in cellar during harvesting
Quality Control - to assist the Quality Controller - Raw Materials including:
• Online QC of bottling and labelling
• Checking QC standards are in specification
• Record and report findings
• Assist in QC of raw materials (corks, labels, bottles)
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Good reading and writing skills, good numerate skills, attention to detail, good people skills.
• A diploma in Food Technology/Microbiology will be an advantage.
• At least one year's Laboratory experience is required.
