DRACULA - Love stronger than Death, the untold story of a true love that never dies, will be performed in the Old Mill Theatre in Paarl from tomorrow to 4 September.
A great warrior, Prince Vlad who defended the cross to protect the church from all enemies, returned from battle against the Turks to find his true love dead by her own hand due to his enemies' deception.
Unbearable pain and rage leads the young prince to avenge her death. He rises from death as a fallen angel.
Cursed to walk through the centuries, he feeds on living blood.
Forever doomed to do so, he finds his true love again - four hundred years later in late nineteenth century London.
The play is adapted and directed by Zetti van den Heuvel. With André Strydom, Anuschka Schenke, Suzanne Nel, Ettienne Snyman, Jerome van den Heuvel, Eddie Harley, Pieter Creus, Rohann Wessels, Alicia Louw, Odette Fourie, Jeanine Terblanche and Anton Walters.
Tickets for Friday's gala evening will be R60 including a light meal and wine.
Dates for the remaining shows are 24, 27, 28, 31 August and 1, 2, 3 and 4 September at 19:30.
